WHAT IS PRECAST ?

It is the process of pouring mixture of fine aggregate-cement with specific granulometry into special formworks, by adding chemicals that provide fluidity in the required rates for ensuring less volume and weight, smooth or textural appearance as steel or glass fiber reinforced structure, as well as expediting stiffening process and increasing the resistance; of squeezing that mixture on the vibration tables, having it subjected to steam cure, transferred to the construction site and welded to the skeleton equipments of the building by means of the assembly irons connected to internal equipment of precast or having it attached by mechanical-chemical expansion bolts; of carrying out joint filling works and handing over to the customer.

Areas of application

  1. Restoration of historical buildings
  2. Exterior wall application for the buildings located in historical protected areas or for new buildings
  3. Siding of industrial buildings
  4. Decoration of exterior walls of the workplaces located in the centers of shopping districts
  5. Decoration of exterior walls of the hotels located in the touristic areas in seaboards
  6. Siding of the buildings of public institutions, hospitals, schools and other important buildings
  7. Siding of the buildings of international trading and touristic areas (such as ports, airports, terminals)
  8. Decoration of exterior walls of the mass living areas, particularly of the housing estates and villas of prosperous people

 Fiber Reinforced Concrete Buildings

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete construction elements known as GRC Glass Reinforced Cement Composites /GFRC Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement Composites in the world, whose examples have been applied with their technical characteristics throughout the world since the early 1970s, began to be applied widespreadly in our country as well, particularly in the high quality buildings, as from the second half of the 1980s.

Glass/Fiber Reinforced Concrete products are manufactured by molding the plaster obtained by blending alkali resistant glass fiber with concrete grout.

By means of the advantages it provides, which cannot be provided by the other materials, it became to be used more widespreadly in the building sector, particularly in the prestige buildings constructed by technology intensive methods; in the buildings constructed by modern building technology; and in restoration of historical buildings.

Glass reinforced concrete products do not contain iron or steel reinforcement. Glass fiber functions as a reinforcement, which is made homogeneous by means of suitable polymers

used in the concrete grout. Besides meeting the same static values with the ones obtained in iron reinforced concrete being used in the traditional production, lightness of the product constitutes its most important characteristic and advantage.

Glass reinforced concrete precast construction elements are the concrete consisting of cement-sand mixture, which has a structure strengthened by chemical additives and reinforced by alkali resistant special glass fibers.

By means of the characteristic of Portland cement used in the production and use of cements in its blend in high-quantity makes the product more resistant to the external factors such as water, noise and heat.

Concrete precast construction elements with high quality and performance
  • Have the feature of being able to be applied to all kinds of architectural form
  • Have the feature of being able to be used in siding applications
  • Have the possibility of being able to be used for eliminating the faults arising during the stage of rough construction works
  • Have the feature of being more durable and light in comparison with classic concrete
  • Are not affected by natural conditions (atmosphere conditions, heat, rains, radiation etc.) and have low heat and noise permeability
  • Have the feature of water insulation
  • Are non-breakable  and do not damaged easily
  • Have the feature of rapid and easy assembly
